Looking for a partner in crime who enjoys being active in the outdoors and traveling. My focus in life is serving my Heavenly Father,Family and my fellow man. This has worked well for me. I have a great relationship with my children and my 2 grand kids. I have thoroughly enjoyed my years of service within the Church, the Boy Scouts of America, as well as other service groups. My wife of 29 years passed away a little over 9 years ago. Over the past few years I had begun to feel like I was getting stuck in a rut. I was working at least 60 hours a week at a job that I really didn't care much for. Recently the Lord has blessed me and given me an opportunity to spend far more time on the truly important things in life. I am now able to spend more time focused on Family, family history, and Temple work. I once again am feeling great joy in my life. My family is spread over 8 states and I have 5 trips planed the next few months, and I am planning to move out west sometime next year.

I really love the outdoors. So far I have been to 22 of the 58 National Parks that our wonderful country has to offer and am eager to add more to the list. I enjoy bicycle riding, canoeing, white water rafting, horseback riding, fishing, hunting, and shooting sports. I am also an aviation nut :) At 14 years old I was up in the Wisconsin Dells with my family when my father arranged for us to go on a flight in a Cessna 172. That was my first experience in a small aircraft and I have had a love affair with aviation ever since. Five years later at 19 years old I obtained my pilots license, afterwards I enjoyed flying around Chicago and even flew out to Idaho to see my brother and his family. Although I enjoy the outdoors, I don't mind spending time at home reading a good book or enjoying good company and conversation. I don't watch much TV, but do like going out to the movies once in a while. I also enjoy going out to listen to live folk, and Celtic music.
